In observance of Dental Hygiene month, the Augusta Independent School elementary students had a visitor on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd. Laura Pears from North Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center decided to join us in an educational program for preschool thru 6th grades. The students in Preschool and Kindergarten were excited as the 'Tooth Fairy' was their special guest for the program.

Ms. Pears shared with the classes the importance of brushing and flossing as well as the important jobs that our teeth provide such as chewing, smiling, talking and/or singing. Anita Jefferson's Preschool class is pictured here with the Tooth Fairy. Assisting with the program was Lisa Bex, FRYSC Coordinator.
